SG Enable held its 10th Anniversary Dinner on 5th May 2023 at Marina Bay Sands. The occasion was graced by Mr Heng Swee Keat, Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies and hosted by Mr Masagos Zilkifli, Minister for Social and Family Development and Second Minister for Health. Also present was Mr Eric Chua, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Social and Family Development & Culture, Community and Youth.
SAMS was proudly represented by Gideon Kao, Dr Ooi Pei Ling (Gideon’s mother), Mr Paul Heng (Gideon’s class teacher) and our Principal, Mrs Wong Bin Eng.
The theme of the event, “Celebrate. Collaborate. Champion” celebrates the milestones in inclusion and honours partners for their collaboration with SG Enable to champion greater disability inclusion.
The event included an art exhibition entitled “Our Gift to Singapore”, the Enabling Mark Awards Ceremony and the unveiling of a digital public education campaign. The evening was capped off by an inclusive choral performance led by Voices of Singapore.
