APPLICATION

Applicants with special education needs who meet the admission criteria for our autism school (national curriculum) as outlined may be required to attend a screening assessment to ascertain suitability for admission to the school.

As of October 2022, all mainstream transfers have to go through MOE. If your child is currently in an existing mainstream school, please approach your child’s School Principal, Psychologist and/or School Special Needs Officer to assist with the transfer to SAMS.

PROGRAMME

The school follows the National Curriculum. The students will learn the following subjects: English, Mathematics and Science (Primary 3 onwards),
Art, Music, Physical Education, Social Studies and Character and Citizenship.

Please note that the students in SAMS are exempted from taking Mother Tongue Languages.

Students in SAMS are exempted from taking Mother Tongue (MT) Languages. For more details on MT exemptions, please refer to MOE’s website: https://www.moe.gov.sg/primary/curriculum/mother-tongue-languages/exemption#pslescoring

*From July 2025 onwards – Singapore Citizens: $60

Yes, SAMS is welcoming our first Secondary/Vocational cohort in 2026. After PSLE, students (and parents) can choose between staying on in SAMS for academic or vocational options, or go to other general education secondary schools (based on their PSLE results).

ANCILLARY SERVICES (BUS TRANSPORT, SSCC, FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE)

SAMS engages Annex Transport Services for school bus transportation.

The bus service currently covers South West and selected areas North West of Singapore. Please check with the bus company to confirm transportation to and fro your location.

You may email us at [email protected] for the Means-Test Declaration Form to apply for the subsidy. Kindly note that bus subsidy applications are only processed after your child has been enrolled into SAMS.

Yes, we have a special student care centre (SSCC). To be eligible to apply, please note the following requirements:
– Student must be a Singapore Citizen or PR (if the student is a PR, at least one immediate family member must be a Singapore Citizen)

Yes, there is a Student Care Fee Assistance (SCFA) Subsidy. Refer to this website for more details: https://supportgowhere.life.gov.sg/schemes/SCFA/student-care-fee-assistance-scfa
