Our English Language Level Head, Ms Lydia Wang has been awarded the Inspiring Teacher of English Award 2024.
Ms Wang was recognised for her efforts towards making English lessons a safe space for her students with autism spectrum disorder. Gracing the award ceremony as guest of honour was Minister of State for Education and Manpower Gan Siow Huang. She commended the English teachers, who give students the skills to thrive in a global landscape, adding that their job is an important one because by equipping our students with English language skills, they are opening doors of opportunities for them to the world.
