Total Defence Day, commemorated on 15 February, is of great significance to Singapore as it was the day Singapore fell to the Japanese in 1942.
As part of our National Education efforts, SAMS remembered that day this year by sharing with our students on the different types of defences in place, in Singapore now. Students also had the chance to don the military wear, and participate in some fun and games relating to Total Defence Day.
